The Wrap Up

1. Order Kits - Most teachers like to have their kits on hand well in advance of their workshop date, just for peace of mind.  We recommend ordering 3-4 weeks in advance, but faster turn-arounds are possible.

2. Preview Video - Watch the video before showing it to your class—it’s fun, fast, and a great way to familiarize yourself with the experience.

3. Recruit a few Volunteers - As with most special events, it’s helpful to have a few extra adults on hand to assist where needed. One extra adult for every 10 students is usually plenty—more are always welcome...and they'll LOVE watching your students shine!

1. Pass Out Kits… but “Don’t open them yet!” - The workshop is carefully organized to keep students focused on learning first, building second. They'll be instructed to open specific packets during key points of the video.

2. Begin Playing Video - Students can be seated at desks or on the floor—whatever's best for your group!

3. Pause Video at Instruction Screens - Each video is organized into “chunks” of instruction followed by an easy-to-follow Pause Screen with step-by-step directions. When your class is ready to move on to the next section of the workshop, simply push Play.

1. Place Finished Toys In Take-Home Bags - Every kit includes a take-home bag for students to put their finished toys in and take home safely.

2. Lost or Broken Parts? - Look in the SPARE PARTS bag that comes with your kits to find extra items that may have “gone missing” during your workshop.

3. Absentees? - No problem! - Access your workshop video for up to 30 days to accommodate students who might have missed the first go-around.  You can even send kits and video link home for students to do with a parent or guardian!
